About the Book
Truly Frank Dublin Memoir is a raw and unforgettable account of one man's journey of self-discovery and acceptance. Set against the backdrop of Dublin's vibrant gay scene, the memoir explores themes of identity, love, loss, and the courage to be true to oneself.
Frank Kelly, the author of Truly Frank Dublin Memoir, was born in Dublin in 1962. He grew up in a working-class family and attended a Catholic school. From a young age, Frank knew that he was different from his peers, but he was afraid to come out as gay. He spent many years living a double life, trying to conform to the expectations of his family and society.
In his early 20s, Frank finally came out as gay. This was a difficult and painful decision, but it was also a liberating one. Frank was finally able to be true to himself, and he began to live his life on his own terms.
Truly Frank Dublin Memoir is a deeply personal and moving account of Frank's journey of self-discovery and acceptance. Through his honest and often humorous prose, Frank invites readers to witness the transformative power of authenticity and the resilience of the human spirit.
