Alice's Early Life

Alice was deployed to Iraq in 1973. She served in a field hospital, and she provided medical care to soldiers who had been wounded in combat.

Alice was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for her service in Iraq. She was also awarded the Combat Action Badge.

After her deployment to Iraq, Alice was assigned to a recruiting unit. She traveled around the country, and she recruited young people to join the Army.

Alice was a very successful recruiter. She helped to recruit hundreds of young people into the Army.

In 1979, Alice was selected to attend Ranger School. Ranger School is a grueling, 62-day course that is designed to test soldiers' physical and mental toughness.

Alice was the first woman to ever graduate from Ranger School.

After graduating from Ranger School, Alice was assigned to the 75th Rangers. The Rangers are an elite special operations unit, and they are known for their toughness and their courage.

Alice served with the Rangers for six years. She participated in several combat missions, and she earned the respect of her fellow soldiers.

In 1985, Alice was deployed to Afghanistan. She served with the Rangers in a counter-terrorism unit.

Alice was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds that she received in Afghanistan. She was also awarded the Army Commendation Medal for her service in Afghanistan.

Alice left the Army in 1992. She had served for 20 years, and she had reached the rank of captain.

Alice's Family

Alice married her husband, Jim, in 1974. They had two sons, Michael and David.

Alice was a devoted mother. She raised her sons while she was serving in the military. She also made sure that they received a good education.
